White Christmas

“I’m dreaming of a White Christmas///Just like the ones I used to know /// Where the treetops glisten /// And children listen /// To hear sleigh bells in the snow”
Bing Crosby made this song famous, but for those of you who don’t have a clue who he is, Michael Buble also recorded it.

This was the year I was going to do my own White Christmas. Our Living Room furniture and carpet are white, so it was a natural. I bought six white branch lit trees, white garland for the mantel and stairway, white reindeer, oversized white ball ornaments, white feather trees, and a white outfit for our mannequin tree. Alas, who knows what will happen with Christmas this year. We’ll certainly be doing a lot less entertaining than we used to, so we’ll probably limit the amount of decorations we take out…and have to pack up!

I’ve already decided I have to have some color in this depressing year, so our dining table will be full of colored bottle brush trees to give us some color joy. And my totally White Christmas will have to wait until next year.

But here’s the Look Book:

And let’s hope for snow, to make it all perfect!
