It’s Fall – time to bring out the Flannel! And what a perfect theme for a Fall Engagement Party.
You’re going to ask all of your guests to wear flannel, of course. And the decorations and food are easy.

Line your walkway with these cute red lanterns.

These hearts on individual dowels with a flannel bow, planted in the ground or planter, are sure to get a smile.

This flannel wreath for your front door is a snap to make with a styrofoam wreath, a glue gun and flannel fabric.

The Trail Mix Appetizer Table should have a red check flannel cloth and a banner with the bride and grooms’ names. These pails are perfect for your guests to put their trail mix in.

In addition to the usual trail mix bar options, make sure you add in some “appetizer-like” items like maple black pepper bacon strips, cheese straws, coated pretzel rods or goat cheese and prosciutto wrapped breadsticks along with some flavored popcorn and chips. No candy in this trail mix!
What could be more perfect than a chili bar. You can even add a vegetarian chili or a white chicken chili for differing diets. Don’t forget the corn muffins or cheese biscuits.

Flannel garland is easy to make for decoration or mix and match on the dessert table.
Dessert: I would make a “manly” chocolate cake and do individual fruit pies for the girls
Red and black check paper ware/ Download and print buffet signs.
So have fun….and don’t forget the Group Flannel Shot!
