SETTING THE STAGE:
What else would go at the Front Entry to set the mood other than these yard flamingos?
I used to think they were the epitome of tacky but now I adore them. When I moved from LA to Carlsbad, I bought a nice house in a great area. Lo and behold, as I drove in on moving day, my new neighbors had one in their front yard. I called a friend, who suggested I go out in the middle of the night and steal it!
Gradually, I got used to Fanny (her name) and laughed when they dressed her for different seasons. This theme works equally well for showers and kids parties.
